PLC President Hails Egypt’s Courageous Stance in Support of Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Security and Regional Stability

President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), praised Egypt’s courageous stance under the leadership of his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

He said the stance reflects Egypt’s steadfast solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting shared threats and safeguarding the interests and national security of the region’s peoples.

In two posts on the X platform, President Al-Alimi said: “Egypt and Saudi Arabia’s support for the Yemeni people in their struggle to restore state institutions represents a cornerstone of regional security and stability.”

He stressed that Cairo and Riyadh are the two pillars of Arab national security, adding that their unity strengthens the Arab nation, enhances its resilience, and bolsters its ability to achieve the peace we seek.
