President AL-Alimi Congratulates ‏ Egyptian president on Advent of Ramadan

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President El-Sisi on this great religious occasion, wishing him abundant health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly government and people of Egypt under President El-Sisi’s wise leadership. His Excellency prayed to Almighty Allah to restore this holy month to both brotherly countries and peoples, as well as to the Arab and Islamic nations, with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.

President Al-Alimi praised the distinguished historical relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, as well as Egypt’s brotherly stance alongside the Yemeni people and their political leadership during various stages. He also commended the generous care provided to thousands of Yemenis residing in or arriving in Egypt.
