Yemen’s Ambassador to Germany Takes Oath Before President Al-Alimi

Mr. Loai Yahya Abdulrahman Al-Eryani was sworn in before His Excellency, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, at the headquarters of Yemen’s Embassy in Riyadh. This comes following his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council met with Ambassador Loai Al-Iryani and urged him to fully assume his responsibilities in representing the Republic of Yemen as the head of its diplomatic mission in Berlin. Additionally, His Excellency stressed the importance of safeguarding Yemen's interests and serving its citizens residing in or arriving in the Federal Republic of Germany, in a way that reflects the longstanding bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

President Al-Alimi praised the ongoing reforms in Yemeni diplomacy and stressed the need to enhance its role in rallying international support, ensuring continued global solidarity with the Yemeni people in their aspirations to restore state institutions, and ending the coup by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, and Dr. Shai’a Al-Zindani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
