President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences to German President

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the passing of former President Horst Köhler.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed, on behalf of himself, the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to President Steinmeier, the family of the deceased, and the friendly German government and people for this painful loss. His Excellency praised the late President's experience and significant contributions to serving his country and people, as well as his role in strengthening the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
