President of Presidential Leadership Council Receives UAE Ambassador

Today, Monday, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received Mr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Yemen.

The meeting touched upon bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and the prospects for strengthening and developing these relations at all levels.

During the meeting, the UAE Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to His Excellency the President and his fellow Council members, expressing His Highness's wishes for the President's good health and happiness, as well as security, stability, and peace for the Yemeni people.

For his part, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council entrusted Ambassador Al-Zaabi with conveying his and the Council’s greetings to the UAE leadership and his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the fraternal Emirati people under its wise leadership.

President Al-Alimi praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, as well as the UAE's active role within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, including its economic, humanitarian, and developmental interventions in various fields.

For his part, the UAE Ambassador affirmed his country's commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and achieving their aspirations for restoring stability, development, and peace.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
