President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences to Chinese President for Earthquake Victims

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China regarding the victims of the earthquake that struck Tibet in southwestern China, which resulted in numerous casualties.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, expressed heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to President Jinping and the families of the victims. Furthermore, His Excellency wished for the safety of the missing and a speedy recovery for the injured, praying to God to protect the friendly People's Republic of China and its people from all evil and harm.
