President Al-Alimi Congratulates Sudan on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, on the anniversary of his brotherly country's Independence Day.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Al-Burhan for his continued good health and happiness. Furthermore, he extended wishes for progress and prosperity to the government and people of Sudan, and for further development and growth in the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields.

His Excellency the President commended the honorable fraternal stances of Sudan, its leadership, government, and people in support of the Yemeni people and their political leadership. Additionally, he praised Sudan’s support for Yemenis’  aspirations to restore state institutions and to overthrow the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist coup.
