President Al-Alimi Congratulates Emir of Qatar on National Day

Today, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, congratulating him on the anniversary of the National Day of his brotherly country.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the members of the Council, the government, and the Yemeni people, expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for abundant health and happiness. Furthermore, he extended wishes for progress and prosperity to the government and people of Qatar under Sheikh Tamim’s wise leadership, as well as for further development and growth in the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields.

His Excellency the President praised the steadfast brotherly stances of the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people in support of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership. Additionally, he commended Qatar’s support for Yemen’s aspirations to restore state institutions and to overthrow the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
