President Al-Alimi Congratulates Saudi Leadership for hosting World Cup 2034

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the announcement by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) that the Kingdom has won the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

On his behalf, the members of the council, the government, and the Yemeni people, the President expressed his heartfelt congratulations to his brother, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the government, and the brotherly Saudi people on this well-deserved achievement of hosting the world’s most prestigious football tournament.

The President praised the ambitious and impressive Saudi bid for hosting the 2034 World Cup, which received the highest evaluation in the history of bidding for the tournament.

President Al-Alimi stated that this unique global event will add a new chapter to Saudi Arabia’s remarkable success stories in development and progress under Vision 2030. He also affirmed his confidence that the 2034 World Cup would be one of the greatest tournaments in history.
