President Al-Alimi Departs United Arab Emirates

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, accompanied by Council Member Othman Mujali, departed the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, after an official visit that lasted several days.

During his visit, His Excellency participated in the celebrations of the UAE’s 53rd National Day, including the official commemorative parade in Al Ain city, as well as Martyrs’ Day events.

At Al Bateen Private Airport, the President and the Council Member were seen off by Mr. Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, UAE Minister of Justice and Mr. Fahd Al-Minhali, Yemen’s Ambassador to the UAE.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), His Excellency reiterated his praise for the noble and fraternal stances of the UAE leadership, led by his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in support of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership, and for alleviating the humanitarian suffering caused by the Houthi terrorist militias backed by the Iranian regime.

His Excellency also commended the rapid urban and developmental progress witnessed in the UAE and highlighted the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples at all levels.
