President Al- Alimi meets with joint military and security committee

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met today, Monday with the joint security and military committee.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the efforts of the joint security and military committee during the past period, ‏reaffirming the Council's commitment ‏to continuing to give its full support to fulfill its obligations under the power transfer declaration, laws, and relevant military regulations.

President Al- Alimi was briefed by the Head of the Joint Military and Security Committee; Major General Haitham Qassem Taher., on the committee’s completed tasks, its plans, future tasks, and the actions required for the the committee’s success.

The meeting also touched upon the military and security situation, and the efforts made at various levels to enhance security and stability, and to achieve the integration of the armed forces under a unified national leadership structure."
