
President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences for Two Officers from the Joint Forces of Coalition Supporting Legitimacy

President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on behalf of the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the government, has expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of an officer and a non-commissioned officer from the brotherly Saudi forces participating in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, following a treacherous terrorist attack that also resulted in the injury of another officer from the coalition in the city of Seiyun, Hadramout Governorate.
In a statement announced by the office of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, it was declared that the criminal act committed on Friday evening by a soldier from the First Military Region forces is a cowardly act of terrorism that does not represent the honorable members of the Yemeni Armed Forces. These forces hold in high regard the significant role and tremendous sacrifices of their brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, who stand alongside the Yemeni people in their aspirations to restore state institutions, alleviate humanitarian suffering, and overthrow the Iranian-backed Houthi militia coup.
The statement confirmed that the the Supreme Commander has issued directives to apprehend the perpetrator, conduct investigations regarding the crime in coordination with the Joint Forces Command of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy, and take necessary measures at various levels.
The Supreme Commander expressed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families and relatives of the martyrs, asking Allah Almighty to accept them among the righteous martyrs and to grant a swift recovery to the injured.
