President al- Alimi receives Maj.-Gen Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Faisal Rajab

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Council, received today, Thursday, at the Maashiq Palace in the temporary capital of Aden, the two great national leaders Major Generals Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Major General Faisal Rajab, who were released from the prisons of the Iran- backed Houthi militias.

In the meeting attended by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Deputy Speaker of the House Mohamed Ali al-Shaddadi, President al -Alimi congratulated Major Generals Al-Subaihi and Rajab on their release and reunion with their families. He also once again congratulated their companion, Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi,, and all the heroes who were recently released after years of forced disappearance abduction in the prisons of the militias.

President al -Alimi praised the major generals for their legendary resilience and patience in the face of the intransigence of the Houthi militias in releasing them under the International Security Council.. Stressing the state's commitment to provide all care and support to its released sons from the prisons of the militias everywhere.

His Excellency expressed his great pride and appreciation for the positions of the released leaders and all the heroic detainees who inspire the nation with lessons and eternal stances in defense of the republican system, its gains, and the legitimate aspirations in building a modern state based on justice, equality, the rule of law, and respect for rights and freedoms.

The chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council renewed the council and government's commitment to spare no effort in releasing the rest of the detainees who are missing in the prisons of the militias, including Mohammed Qahtan who is covered by the International Security Council.
