President Al-Alimi Meets with Omani Foreign Minister

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Sunday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, with His Excellency Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting was held  in the presence of Dr. Shaya'e bin Mohsen Al-Zindani, Yemen Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The meeting touched upon bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the prospects for strengthening them across various fields.

During the meeting, they discussed latest developments in the Yemeni situation, including the commendable mediation efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to launch a comprehensive political process under the auspices of the United Nations.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Abdullah Al-Sa’adi, Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations.
