President Al- Alimi receives French Ambassador

   Riyadh:

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, French Ambassador to Yemen, Jean-Marie Safa. who briefed his excellency on his internal and exterior communications on Yemeni file  and chances of bringing about peace and stability in the country .

 

  The meeting touched upon regional and international efforts to force the Houthi terrorist militias to seriously deal with efforts for reviving the political process and alleviating humanitarian suffering of Yemeni people.

 

  Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council reaffirmed the Presidential Council's and the government’s approach of maintaining inclusive and just peace based on the locally, regionally and internationally agreed upon references, led by Security Council Resolution's 2216..

 

President Al- Alimi praised the French position towards Yemeni issue, including economic and service reforms led by the Leadership Council and the government, condemning human rights violations by the Houthi terrorist militias, and its military escalation on various fronts. 

 

  The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi
