President Al-Alimi Congratulates New British Prime Minister

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to the leader of the British Labor Party, Mr. Keir Starmer, on the occasion of his party’s victory in the legislative elections in the friendly United Kingdom. His Excellency congratulated Mr. Starmer on his official appointment as UK Prime Minister to form the new government.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf, the members of the Council and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations to the British Prime Minister, wishing him good health and happiness, success in his new duties, and all progress and prosperity to the friendly people of the United Kingdom.

His Excellency the President also expressed his confidence that the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries will witness further prosperity and development in various fields.
