President Al-Alimi congratulates Emir of Qatar on His ascension to the throne

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, congratulating him on the eleventh anniversary of his ascension to the throne in his brotherly country.

The President of the Leadership Council expressed, on his own behalf, the members of the Council, and the government, sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, abundant health and happiness, and to the government and people of the State of Qatar progress and prosperity under his wise leadership, and to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries development and advancement.

His Excellency President Al-Alimi praised the firm fraternal positions of the State of Qatar, its leadership, government and people, alongside Yemen, its people and its political leadership. He also praised Qatar’s effort to alleviate Yemen’s human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
