
Yemen Expresses Regret Over UN Security Council Failure to Recognize Palestine's Full Membership

The Republic of Yemen expressed deep regret at the failure of the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities towards granting full membership to the State of Palestine in the United Nations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), that the establishment of the Palestinian state and ending the occupation is the basic foundation for achieving peace, security and stability in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the continuation of efforts with all international parties until the aspirations of the Palestinian people are achieved to establish their independent state with Eastern Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with all international legislation, resolutions and conventions.
