The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council meets with the Presidency of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Monday, with the Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, and his deputies, Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi, Sakher Al-Wajih, Jamila Ali Raja, and Akram Al-Amiri.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to comprehensive briefings from the Chairman and deputies of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission on the work of the Commission during the previous period, which culminated in its general meetings in the interim capital, Aden, amid wide local, regional and international interest.

 

The briefings, which were initiated by the Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission via videoconference, included the Commission's efforts to support the Presidential Leadership Council, create the appropriate conditions to achieve comprehensive reconciliation between the national components, unify their goals, and mobilize their capabilities around the demand to restore state institutions, and end the coup of the Houthi militia backed by the Iranian regime. 

 

The Chairman of the Consultation Commission and his deputies briefed the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council on the results of the commission’s general meetings, the tasks it accomplished, and the issues on its agenda.

 

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the efforts of the Consultation Committee and its supportive role for the Council, stressing the keenness to enhance its active presence in protecting the existing consensus, and bridging confidence between the national components opposed to the Imamate project supported by the Iranian regime.

 

His Excellency the President praised the spirit of responsibility shown by the members of the Consultation Commission in their transparent deliberations on national issues. In addition to, the requirements for activating the work of the Commission and its various activities, according to the announcement of the transfer of power, building on its qualitative effort to achieve broad partnership and political stability, and restore the path of peace and development in the country.
