President Al-Alimi congratulates Yemeni women on the International Women’s Day Anniversary

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, congratulated the Yemeni women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8. Which is celebrated this year under the theme “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council wrote on a post on his account on X platform “on the occasion of International Women’s Day, we extend our sincere congratulations to the Yemeni women. Those who have demonstrated their effective presence at various stages, including resisting the compelling circumstances of war, and protecting the identity of our country, its social fabric, and the future of its successive generations”.

His Excellency the President renewed the commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and local authorities to continue working to improve the living conditions of the Yemeni family, empower women with their inherent rights, constructive participation in decision-making, and restore state institutions, peace and development.
