President Al- Alimi receives Chairman and members of Reconciliation and Social Peace Commission in Taiz.

His  Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council , praised the great efforts led by the Reconciliation and Social Peace Commission in Taiz  to promote values of reconciliation and tolerance, a culture of accountability, fairness, and constructive dialogue among all community components in the governorate.

This came as  the president of the Presidential Leadership Council received today, Sunday, the reconciliation document of  the 35th Armored Brigade’s  events in Al-Hojariya districts from 2019-2020. The document was handed over to his excellency by Dr. Abdul Salam Razzaz, Chairman of the Reconciliation and Social Peace Commission in Taiz, along with committee members Dr. Olfatt Al-Dubai, Basem Al-Hajj, Adel Al-Aqibi, Abdulbari Al-Barkani, Ahmed Al-Sharabi, and Ahmed othman.

During the meeting, President Al- Alimi was briefed by the Chairman and members of the Reconciliation and Social Peace Commission in Taiz on  the committee's activities during the past period and its future work programs in promoting national reconciliation and protecting social peace.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the importance of focusing the committee's attention on key issues aligned with the exceptional circumstances imposed by the Iran- backed Houthi militia’s war, in addition to turning reconciliation into an established community culture and a doorway to cohesiveness and self-dedicating in the battle to restore State institutions, development, and reconstruction.

His Excellency the President, highly appreciated the leading role of  Taiz Governorate in the national equation, and  the bravery of its citizens in defending the republican system and their innovative presence in all fields.
