President Al- Alimi offers condolences on the passing of the Yemeni great poet Ahmed Al-Jabri

His Excellency president Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to the family of the great lyric poet, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Jabri, who passed away today, Saturday, after a career full of immortal cultural, literary and poetic bestowal.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed on his own behalf, the Council members, and the government, sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of poet Al-Jabri, his friends, and his lovers over this painful loss, noting that the country has lost, with his passing, one of its most prominent literary symbols, and its cultural and creative icons, who had his poetic and distinguished epic literary imprints.

His Excellency the President praised the virtues and legacy of the deceased, and his great contributions to enriching Yemeni singing poetry with all its dialects, vocabulary and multiple colors, which embodied his unique love for the homeland, the land, mankind, love, goodness and peace, praying to Allah, the Almighty to cover him with his vast mercy, to dwell him in spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
