PRESIDENT AL- ALIMI OFFERS CONDOLENCES OVER THE DEATH OF ‏Maj.-Gen Najeeb Damaj

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohamed Al- Alimi , President of the Presidential Leadership Council, has made a phone call to Mr. Sakhr Najeeb Damaj, offering his condolences to him and his brothers on the death of their father, Major General Najib Ahmed Hassan Damaj, Assistant Commander of the Seventh Military Region, after a lifetime of honorable military and national contributions.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf and Members of the Council, expressed to the Al-Damaj family his deep sorrow over the passing of Major General Najeeb Damaj. His Excellency praised the deceased prominent role in serving the military institution as a brave  national struggler, an experienced leader in defending national interests and fighting against the coup of the Iran- backed Houthi militias.

His Excellency the President praised the virtues of the deceased, his history of accomplishments and sacrifices to serve his country and people, and his progress in assuming many positions, including the 81st Infantry Brigade Commander and an advisor to the Chief of General Staff. The President prayed o Allah, Almighty, to bestow His vast mercy on the deceased, grant patience and solace to his family, and loved ones.
