The President receives US Ambassador

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Yemen, Stephen Feigen.

The meeting touched on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and local developments, including the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to launch a comprehensive political process led by the United Nations.

During the meeting they also reviewed economic and financial reforms, the international support required to strengthen the course of these reforms, and government measures to control the catastrophic humanitarian repercussions of the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil installations and international shipping lines. The meeting also discussed a number of issues of common concern, and the positions of the two friendly countries regarding them. 

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
