President Al- Alimi Condoles over the death of CIT Minister

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, has conducted a telephone call with Dr. Mohammed Najib Al-Awj, to offer condolences to him, his brothers, and all his family members on the death of their father, Dr. Najib Mansour Al-Awj, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who passed away today, Tuesday, after a lifetime of honorable progress in serving his country, its people, and its progress.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed profound sorrow, on his own behalf and the Council members, over the death of Dr. Al-Awj. Dr. Al-Awj was a great example of a leader, administrator, and a successful economist in all the positions he held during his professional and working life, the latest of which was leading development in communication and information technology.
His Excellency the President noted, with the passing of Dr. Najib Al-Awj, the country has lost one of its bravest figures who was very committed to defending revolution and the republic’s principles, and fighting against the Iran- backed Imamate project until his last breath.
President Al- Alimi expressed deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, the government, and the Yemeni people on this painful loss, praying to Allah, Almighty, to bestow His vast mercy on the deceased, grant patience and solace to his family, coworkers and loved ones.
