PLC President Congratulates Saudi Leadership on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of the National Day of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to King Salman, wishing His Majesty abundant health and happiness. He further wished the brotherly Saudi people continued progress and prosperity under King Salman’s wise leadership.

His Excellency the President highlighted the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, as well as the urban and developmental progress achieved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across various fields.

President Al-Alimi expressed his high appreciation for the Kingdom’s honorable fraternal stances in support of the Yemeni people and its legitimate leadership throughout various stages and circumstances. He acknowledged the Kingdom’s strong and steadfast commitment to continuing its support for the Yemeni state and alleviating the humanitarian suffering caused by the Houthi terrorist militias.

President Al-Alimi also highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leading role in building responsible regional and international partnerships. He commended the Kingdom’s active contribution to strengthening collective security and deterring challenges and threats that undermine the security and stability of the region.

President Al-Alimi also sent a similar cable of congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
