President Al-Alimi Congratulates Canada on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Her Excellency Louise Arbour, Governor General of Canada, on the anniversary of the friendly country’s National Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations to the Governor General, wishing her abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and the friendly people of Canada continued prosperity and progress.

His Excellency the President expressed his deep appreciation for Canada’s steadfast support for the Yemeni people and their political leadership. He further commended Canada’s support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and achieve security, stability, and peace.
