President Al-Alimi Congratulates Djibouti on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh on the anniversary of the brotherly country’s Independence Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Guelleh, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the Republic of Djibouti continued progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries further development and growth.

President Al-Alimi praised the steadfast support of the Republic of Djibouti—its leadership, government, and people—for the Yemeni people, their political leadership, and their aspirations to restore state institutions and achieve security, stability, and peace. He further commended Djibouti’s efforts to help alleviate the humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
