PLC President Meets Family of Late Mohammed Saeed Bin Burik

President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Wednesday with former Hadhramout Governor Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Burik. During the meeting the president offered condolences on the passing of former National Security Bureau chief and veteran national figure Major General Mohammed Saeed Bin Burik, who passed away after a lifetime of dedicated service to his country, people, and development.

President Al-Alimi, on behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the government, renewed his condolences and sympathy to Major General Ahmed Bin Burik and his family. The two also reflected on the late official’s virtues, national contributions, and distinguished record of public service through the many senior civilian and security positions he held, including his tenure as head of the National Security Bureau.

The President affirmed that Yemen had lost one of its most loyal sons and devoted leaders, who dedicated his life to serving his nation and people and made significant contributions to the development and strengthening of the military and security institutions.

For his part, Major General Ahmed Bin Burik expressed his deep appreciation for the President’s condolences and his support for the family during their time of grief.
