President Al-Alimi Congratulates Russia on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, on the anniversary of the friendly country’s National Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Putin, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the Russian Federation continued progress and prosperity, and the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries further development and growth across various fields.

His Excellency the president praised Russia’s steadfast and supportive stance toward Yemen, its people, and its political leadership. He also commended Russia’s support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and achieve security, stability, and peace.
