President Al-Alimi Congratulates King of Jordan on Accession Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the anniversary of Accession Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah II, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further wished the Government and people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan continued progress and prosperity, and the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries further growth and development across various fields.

His Excellency praised the honorable fraternal support extended by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—its leadership, government, and people—to Yemen, its people, and its political leadership, as well as its support for the Yemeni people’s aspirations to restore state institutions and achieve security, stability, and peace. He further commended Jordan’s efforts to help alleviate the humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran- backed Houthi terrorist militias.
