President Al-Alimi Receives More Cables of Condolences on Passing of Former President Hadi

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received more cables of condolences and sympathy on the passing of former President of the Republic, Field Marshal Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. The cables were received from members of the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, and the Cabinet, as well as political and party leaders, leaders of Yemeni communities abroad, and prominent social, academic, and media figures inside and outside Yemen.

The cables expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the members of the Council, the Government, the family of the deceased, and the Yemeni people as a whole on this painful loss. They recalled the late President’s national stances and his prominent roles in defending the republican system and constitutional legitimacy, as well as his steadfast stances in preserving Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The cables praised the distinguished national career of the deceased and the wisdom and sense of responsibility he demonstrated while leading the country during an exceptional period. They further highlighted his commitment to dialogue and the peaceful transfer of power, foremost among them his responsible sponsorship of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, one of the most significant unifying milestones in Yemen’s contemporary history.

The cables likewise noted the late President’s stances in confronting the coup and the new Imamate project and his adherence to national, regional, and international references. They also underscored his dedication to the aspirations of the Yemeni people to restore state institutions and achieve a just and comprehensive peace.

The mourners prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, grant him eternal rest in Paradise, and inspire his family, relatives, and loved ones with patience and solace.
