President Al-Alimi Receives Cable of Congratulations from President of India on National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a cable of congratulations from Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu, President of the Republic of India, on the occasion of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, 22 May.
In her cable, the President of India stated: “On behalf of the Government and the people of India, and on my own behalf, I extend to you, and to the Government and friendly people of Yemen, my warmest congratulations and best wishes on your National Day.”
Her Excellency noted that India and Yemen enjoy close and friendly relations rooted in long-standing historical, social, and cultural ties. She highlighted the significant potential to further expand and deepen relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
President Murmu also extended her best wishes to His Excellency the President for good health and well-being, and to the Yemeni people for lasting prosperity.
