President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Council member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi participate in the opening of the Sustainable Development Summit

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Council Member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi participated today, Monday, in the opening session of the Political Forum of the High-Level Sustainable Development Summit, at the beginning of a program full of presidential discussions and meetings coinciding with the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, which begins its work tomorrow,Tuesday, in New York City.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council will speak in an evening session of the leaders’ dialogues with an intervention on the level of implementation of government commitments related to the Sustainable Development goals, and the priorities of the current stage in light of the repercussions of the war sparked by the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.

The session was attended by the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, and the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Abdullah Al-Saadi.
