President Al-Alimi Holds Phone Call with Prime Minister Over Abyan Incident, Directs Urgent Assistance for Victims

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a phone call with the Prime Minister, Dr. Shai’a Mohsen Al-Zindani, to review the repercussions of the tragic traffic accident in Al-Mahfad District of Abyan Governorate.

During the call, the President was briefed by the Prime Minister on the details of the accident, which resulted in the death of 11 citizens and injuries to others, as well as on the measures taken at both the governmental and local levels to address its aftermath. His Excellency directed the disbursement of urgent financial assistance to the families of the deceased and the injured.

The President expressed his profound sorrow and deepest condolences to the families of the victims over this painful incident. He prayed that Almighty God grant the deceased His vast mercy and forgiveness, and bestow a swift recovery upon the injured.
