President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of Struggler Abdulqawi Rashad

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to the family of the struggler Abdulqawi Mohammed Rashad Al-Shaw’bi. The late national figure passed away after a lifetime of dedicated service for the development, dignity, and progress of his country and people.

On behalf of himself, the Council members and the government, President Al-Alimi expressed his deep sorrow and sincere condolences to the family of the deceased for their painful loss.

His Excellency the President highlighted the virtues of the deceased and his prominent roles as one of the key figures of the national movement. His Excellency also commended the deceased significant contributions to serving the country in numerous leadership positions, most notably as the first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs after independence. He prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
