President Al-Alimi Praises Record Success in Restoring Military Camps, Orders Strict Measures to Protect Public and Private Property

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has directed the adoption of strict measures to secure state institutions and public facilities, and to protect public and private property in Hadhramaut Governorate. The directive follows the record achievement by the Homeland Shield Forces in restoring full control over all military and security sites in the governorate, in accordance with coordinated plans with the Leadership of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy.

In telephone calls with Mr. Salem Al-Khanbashi, Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Commander of the Homeland Shield Forces, as well as with relevant authorities, the President stressed the importance of safeguarding state institutions and protecting citizens’ interests.

He emphasized the need to deter any human rights violations and to hold accountable anyone involved in looting, attacking state institutions, or tampering with public assets.

President Al-Alimi called on the people of Hadhramaut to support local authorities and the Homeland Shield Forces in protecting institutions and public facilities. He called on them to preserve social peace, in a manner that strengthens community partnership and upholds the rule of law.

His Excellency commended the responsible role of the local authority in Hadhramaut and the swift achievement of the Homeland Shield Forces in restoring and securing the sites, affirming that this success reflects the forces’ discipline and high level of readiness. He noted that it contributes to normalizing conditions, creating an enabling environment for the resumption of services, and alleviating citizens’ suffering.

The President also held a telephone call with Mr. Mohammed Ali Yasser, the Governor of Al-Mahrah Governorate, during which he was briefed on the general situation in the governorate and ongoing arrangements for the handover of military camps and sovereign facilities to the Homeland Shield Forces and the local authority. These steps, he noted, would enhance security and stability, protect state institutions, safeguard public and private interests, and preserve social peace in the governorate.

He praised the efforts of the local authority in Al-Mahrah and its high sense of responsibility in managing the current phase, prioritizing de-escalation and dialogue, and avoiding any security or humanitarian repercussions. He expressed deep appreciation for the honorable role of the people of Al-Mahrah in rallying around state institutions and placing the governorate’s interests, security, and stability above all else.

President Al-Alimi highly commended the efforts of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He praised the Coalition’s sincere endeavors to reduce escalation and restore security and stability. He noted that these efforts have contributed to the recent gains and to the path toward comprehensive normalization in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahrah governorates.

The President also expressed profound thanks and appreciation to the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for responding to the request to host and sponsor a comprehensive dialogue conference on the Southern Issue He praised this responsible fraternal stance that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Yemen’s security and stability, and to addressing national issues through political dialogue within a comprehensive solution framework.

His Excellency affirmed that this generous response reflects the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries. He said it also underscores the special strategic partnership shaped by geography and shared interests. He further highlighted the Kingdom’s pivotal and sustained role in sponsoring national consensus and creating conducive conditions for peace in a manner that meets the aspirations of all Yemenis.

In this context, the President called on the Southern Transitional Council to adhere to the path of dialogue. He urged the Council to reverse its unilateral measures in various governorates. He also stressed the need to avoid worsening living conditions or exposing civilians and state institutions to additional risks. The President further called on the Council to engage seriously in the process of building state institutions in accordance with the nationally, regionally, and internationally agreed transitional references.

President Al-Alimi reaffirmed that the state remains committed to enforcing the rule of law, protecting citizens, and showing zero tolerance toward any practices that undermine public order or harm the country’s supreme national interests and the security of neighboring states. He emphasized that this is a shared responsibility requiring solidarity and the mobilization of all energies toward the battle to restore state institutions and overthrow the coup of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

He also stressed the importance of close cooperation with the international community to combat terrorism, smuggling, and to secure maritime waterways and global energy supplies.
