President al-Alimi receives credentials copy from Kuwaiti Ambassador and praises distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Thursday, at the Mashiq Presidential Palace in the interim capital Aden, credentials copy from the newly appointed Kuwaiti Ambassador to Yemen Falah Baddah al-Hajraf, who conveyed to him best wishes of the Emir of Kuwait Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah and Crown Prince Mesha'al Al Ahmad Al Sabah, wishing his Excellency good health, happiness, and to the Yemeni people, stability, peace, and development.

After the ceremony of receiving credentials, President al-Alimi met with al-Hajraf in the interim Capital of Aden as an Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Yemen, confirming providing all facilitations and support to him to perform his duties for serving distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency praised the long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries and commended Kuwait's honorable position in supporting Yemeni people ,its political leadership within the Saudi- led Coalition to support Legitimacy in Yemen.

He also praised Kuwaiti funding foundations and charitable agencies in providing support to Yemen and alleviating suffering of Yemeni people caused by the Iran - backed Houthi militia's war. 

The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak, and the Chief of Protocol and Ceremonies of the Presidency, Mr. Mohamed Al-Haj.
