President al- Alimi praises institutional approach of Al-Mahra University

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Sunday, with the rector of Al-Mahra University, Dr. Anwar Kalshat, heads and faculty members at the university in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Bilghaith, Engineer Wahy Aman, Governor of Al-Mahra, Mohammed Ali Yasser, and Minister of Education, Dr. Tariq Al-Akbari..

The president of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the rector of Al-Mahra University, the deans and heads of departments in the college about the development witnessed by the emerging university during the last period, and the government interventions required to fulfill its academic tasks in various disciplines .

In the meeting, His Excellency the President praised the successes achieved by Al-Mahra University during a short period of its establishment, stressing the importance of the university's focus on qualitative specializations, and attracting the best academically and administratively creative talents capable of productivity under the conditions of war imposed by the Iran- backed Houthi militia.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the keenness of the Council and the government to enhance the role of academic institutions in the battle of awareness, alongside the modern state that meets the aspirations of all Yemenis. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Council, Major General Saleh Al-Maqalih.
