President Al-Alimi Congratulates Egypt’s President on Anniversary of October Victories

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi  of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the fifty-second anniversary of the Glorious October Victories.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, the Government, and the Yemeni people, President Al-Alimi conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President El-Sisi for continued good health and happiness, and to the dear Egyptian people for further progress and prosperity under President El-Sisi’s wise leadership.

His Excellency the President also expressed his pride and that of the Yemeni people in the historic battle that culminated in the victories of October 6 by the Egyptian Armed Forces. The battle which changed the course of history and strengthened the leading position of brotherly Egypt and the pride and dignity of the Arab nation.

The president of the Presidential Leadership Council praised Egypt’s stance in support of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership throughout various stages, leading up to Egypt’s effective role within the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy.

His Excellency further commended the firm bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples and their promising prospects at all levels.
