Leadership Council Chairman and his deputies visit former president

  Riyadh:

His excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, visited today, Friday, former President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi at his place of residence in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in the presence of Council members, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, , Sultan Al-Arada, Tariq Saleh,, Abdulrahman Al-Muharrami, Abdullah Al-Alimi, and Faraj Al-Bahsani,  ". 

 

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council along with Council members exchanged with the former president congratulations on the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and the release of hundreds of detainees from the prisons of the Houthi militia, including Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the former Minister of Defense, and Hadi's brother Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, the former head of the Political Security Service in the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan. 

 

During the visit attended by Mr. Sultan Al Barkani, Speaker of Yemen's House of Representatives, the Presidency of the Council, members from the Councils of Representatives and Shura., Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, advisors of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and leading statesmen. The chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his sincere congratulations to the former president on the release of his brother, Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, and to the Yemeni people and hundreds of families who have reunited with their loved ones in these blessed days, hoping that this step will represent an entry point to closing this humanitarian file, and building on it in achieving a comprehensive and just peace in the country.
