President Al-Alimi Directs Urgent Measures to Apprehend Criminal Elements in Taiz

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a telephone call today, Thursday, with Mr. Nabil Shamsan, Governor of Taiz, along with a number of local, security, and military leaders in the governorate.

During the calls, the President was briefed on the overall situation in Taiz, including the terrorist threats undermining security, stability, and public peace, the latest of which was the heinous assassination of Ms. Eftihan Al-Mashhary, Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the governorate.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the Government, the President expressed his deep sorrow and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyr Eftihan Al-Mashhary. He prayed to Almighty God to grant the late official, who was widely recognized for her competence and dedication, His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to bestow patience and solace upon her family and loved ones.

The President directed security and military departments, as well as law enforcement authorities, to take all necessary measures to pursue the criminal elements, bring them to swift justice, and continue implementing comprehensive security actions to eradicate terrorism in all its forms.

His Excellency praised the people of Taiz for their honorable stances alongside the Armed Forces, security services, and popular resistance in confronting the terrorist Houthi militias and other criminal organizations aligned with them.

The President further affirmed the pride of the leadership and the Yemeni people in the great sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces and security institutions to safeguard the nation’s security, preserve its achievements, and deter all threats.
