President Al-Alimi Congratulates National Youth Football Team on Qualifying for Gulf Cup Final

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, made a phone call on Sunday evening to Mr. Nayef Al-Bakri, Minister of Youth and Sports, congratulating him on the national youth football team’s qualification for the final match of the Gulf Cup in its inaugural edition, after defeating their Omani counterparts 2–0.
His Excellency praised the sportsmanship and honorable performance demonstrated by the national team, commending the efforts of those involved in preparing and supporting the team at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Yemeni Football Association.
He also expressed, on behalf of himself, the members of the council, and the government, his deep gratitude to the Yemeni fans at home and abroad for their support of the national team in achieving this great football accomplishment, which created widespread joy and delighted its supporters everywhere.
The President directed that all necessary support be provided to the national youth team in order to maintain their outstanding level and strengthen their chances of winning the first title.
