His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, returned today, Monday, with Council member Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, to the interim capital, Aden.

 

During the past period, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council made internal and external tours. His Excellency with the members of the Council held a series of consultative meetings and in-depth discussions with brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and regional and international partners on developments in the national situation, and efforts aimed at establishing peace, stability, and ending the human suffering that It was made by the Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime.

 

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the President of the Presidential Leadership Council affirmed his keenness and his fellow members of the Council for the participation of citizens in the interim capital, Aden, and all governorates, their concerns and legitimate aspirations to secure basic services, especially electricity, energy, and decent livelihoods.

 

His Excellency the President renewed the commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council to move forward in creating appropriate conditions for the stability of the work of state institutions and their leaders, to implement structural, financial and administrative reforms to improve the efficiency of government services, and fortify the home front in the fateful battle against the coup project and the terrorist organizations serving with it.

 

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council affirmed his deep awareness, along with the members of the Council and the government, of the extent of human suffering, exacerbated by the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil installations and international shipping lanes. He expressed his great appreciation for the high responsibility that the Yemeni people had in dealing with the catastrophic repercussions of these criminal attacks.

 

In this context, His Excellency also praised the urgent response of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in order to strengthen the position of the national economy and prevent the collapse of the country into a comprehensive humanitarian crisis.
