President Al-Alimi Congratulates UAE President on Eid Al-Adha

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the brotherly United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.  

On behalf of himself, the Council members, the Yemeni government, and the Yemeni people, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on this great religious occasion. He wished His Highness abundant health and happiness, and for the brotherly UAE government and people continued progress and prosperity under Sheikh Mohammed’s wise leadership. He also expressed hopes for further development and flourishing in the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.  

President Al-Alimi commended the UAE’s honorable stance in supporting the Yemeni people and their political leadership under all circumstances. He further acknowledged the UAE’s active role in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, as well as its generous humanitarian and developmental contributions at all levels.
