President Al-Alimi Congratulates Egyptian President on Eid-Al-Adha

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

On behalf of himself, the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, the President expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President El-Sisi on this significant religious occasion, wishing him abundant health and happiness. He further extended wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the brotherly government and people of Egypt under President El-Sisi’s wise leadership.

President Al-Alimi praised the historic and distinguished ties between the two brotherly countries and peoples. He also commended Egypt's steadfast Arab stance in support of the Yemeni people and their political leadership in various circumstances. His Excellency further noted the generous care provided to hundreds of thousands of Yemenis residing in or arriving in Egypt.
