President Al-Alimi Congratulates King of Jordan on Independence Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the anniversary of his brotherly country’s Independence Day.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Council, and the government, the President expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein for continued good health and happiness. He further expressed his hope for the progress and prosperity of the government and people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under His Majesty’s wise leadership, and for the continued growth and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.

His Excellency the President praised the steadfast brotherly positions of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—its King, government, and people—in support of Yemen, its people, and its political leadership. He also acknowledged the efforts of Jordan to alleviate the humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
