President Al-Alimi Arrives in Baghdad to Participate in Ordinary and Development Arab Summits

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, has arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, accompanied by Council members Othman Mujali and Faraj Al-Buhsani, to participate in the Ordinary and Development Arab Summits, scheduled to commence today, Saturday.
Upon arrival at Baghdad International Airport, the Presidential delegation was received by Dr. Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister of Iraq, Mr. al-Khadher Marmash, Yemen’s Ambassador to Iraq, and several members of the embassy staff.
President Al-Alimi is set to deliver Yemen’s speech to the Arab Summit. Additionally, he will hold discussions with Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses, as well as heads of participating delegations, on the latest developments in the national and regional situation. The talks will focus on ways to activate mechanisms of joint Arab action in facing shared challenges.
