President al-Alim: We're committed to comprehensive solution references

  RIYADH:

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Aalimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Sunday, the Swedish Envoy to Yemen Peter Semneby to bid him farewell on the successful completion of his tenure.

.The Swedish diplomat briefed the President on the outcomes of his consultations with the national and regional parties in order to alleviate the humanitarian suffering and revive the political process amid the Iran-backed Houthi militias' continuous intransigence.

During the meeting, His Excellency the President praised the role of the Swedish envoy during his tenure, wishing him all the best in his future tasks . His Excellency also deeply appreciated the Sweden Kingdom's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people and its leadership to restore the State's institutions, establish peace, stability and development.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, has confirmed the commitment of the Presidential Council and the Government to comprehensive and sustainable peace that is based on the nationally, regionally and internationally agreed on terms of peace references. Calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities regarding the grave violations of human rights committed by the Houthi militias, and their exploitation of the interests of the Yemeni people and their national gains.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi.
