President Al-Alimi Receives a Phone Call from the Palestinian President

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a phone call today, Sunday, from his brother, His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine.

During the call, the Palestinian President extended his congratulations to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, wishing him good health and well-being, and hoping for stability and peace for the government and people of Yemen.

For his part, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, his fellow council members, and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations to President Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. He wished that this great occasion would return while the brotherly Palestinian people have achieved their legitimate aspirations of establishing their fully sovereign independent state, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
